William Forrest Graham

October 9, 1950 – June 3, 2017

William Forrest Graham, 66, of Radford, VA, passed away June 3, 2017, at home. His beloved daughter, Sofia Graham, who was the light of his life; his sister, Lynne G Siefert (Mark) and several nieces and nephews, survive him. He was an artistic person, spending much time drawing and writing. He lived most of his life in Alexandria and Manassas, VA and relocated to Radford in 2013. A casual memorial gathering will be held at The Winery at Bull Run - Barrel Room, 15950 Lee Highway, Centreville, VA from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. on July 30, 2017. Join us in remembering Bill. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, jdrf.org.

Robert Bruce “Bob” Reppa Jr

October 12, 1950 – December 3, 2002 @ 52 Memorial FindAGrave Link Supervisor, Grey Eagle Corporation Bob Reppa of Alexandria, VA, died December 3, 2002, at Alexandria INOVA Hospital after a four-month illness with lymphoma. He was born in Tulsa, OK and lived with his military family on many Army posts in the United States and in Germany. He came to Alexandria in 1955 and graduated from T.C. Williams High School. A graduate of the University of Maryland in College Park, he was an honor graduate in history and a member of Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity. While at the University of Maryland, he enlisted in the Marine Corps Reserves in 1969, trained at Parris Island and served for six years, most of which were at Andrews Air Force Base. Bob was employed as a Salesman with the Equitable Life Assurance Company. Later he spent two years in El Guryat, Saudi Arabia with the Gray International Company. Brice Wilson “Buddy” Rhyne Jr

January 9, 1950 – November 4, 1979 @ 29 Memorial FindAGrave Link Buddy lived in Brooklyn and was employed by the Metropolitan Museum of Fine Arts in New York City at the time of his suicide (during a visit to Alexandria). When he was a college student at Columbia College, he wrote an Letter to the Editor re a mugging.

Kathryn Joyce “Kathy” Barwick

October 11, 1950 – August 17, 1969 @ 18 Memorial FindAGrave Link The Kathy Barwick Music Scholarship was established in 1970 by William and Joyce Barwick of Alexandria, in memory of their daughter, Kathy Barwick, who died of leukemia in 1969. She had played the violin in the T.C. Orchestra and attended the Virginia Music Camp. The scholarships have been awarded annually to an orchestra member from each of the city's secondary schools, c hosen for their talent and ability as well as involvement in their school music program. The students attend the Virginia Music Camp at Mary Baldwin College in Staunton, Virginia.
