Herbert S Reid III

April 29, 1950 – July 26, 2023 @ 73 placeholder link  Memorial FindAGrave Link   Herbert S. Reid, III, 73, of Russell, Kansas, formerly of Alexandria, Virginia, passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at the Russell Regional Hospital. He was born April 29, 1950. Herb grew up in Alexandria, Virginia and retired in Bunker Hill, Kansas to chase pheasants. He served in Vietnam as a US Army helicopter pilot. Herb was an active member of the Black Gold Pheasants Forever Chapter and the proud coach of the Russell Youth Trap Team. He is survived by his wife, Sheryl, of 32 years. Herb was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Jane Fowlkes and sister, Susan L. Fowlkes. Cremation has taken place and he will be laid to rest in Arlington National Cemetery at a future date.      

Shawn Michelle Noel

 April 26, 1950 – December 27, 2023 @ 73 Shawn “ Shawnie ”  M. Noel - Teacher, Gardner, Love for Children. On December 20, 2023, Shawn M. Noel had a severe medical event that took her life on December 27, 2023. Shawn was born on April 26, 1950, in Sacramento, CA to the late Arnold “Pappy” Clement Noel and Marjorie “Nonnie” Aurelia (Cameron) Noel. The family moved to Alexandria, VA where Shawn grew up with her half-sister Claudia Frazier and brothers Trace Noel and Mycal Noel. Shawn graduated from T.C. Williams High School in 1968 and then furthered her education at Bethel University, McKenzie, TN with a degree in Education. Shawn would return to T.C. Williams where she taught Physical Education and was the coach for the girls’ soccer and field hockey teams. She continued to follow some of the team members through Facebook as they matured into “wonderful women”. Their relationship remained paramount to Shawn. Max Samuel Abraham

Jun 21, 1950 – Mar 21, 2024 @ 73 Memorial FindAGrave Link   born in Alexandria, Virginia lived in Dunnellon, Florida Max in 2014 Max Samuel Abraham, 73, beloved husband of Jasen Melson; devoted son of the late Jacob Abraham and Miriam Abraham; and loving brother of Helene Newman(Jerome) passed away peacefully at his home in Dunnellon, Florida, on Thursday March 21, 2024. Services will be held Wednesday, March 27 1:30 pm at Agudas Achim Congregation, 2908 Valley Drive, Alexandria, VA. Interment will follow at the Agudas Achim Congregation Cemetery. Max's family will be returning to Florida for shiva observance. Expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to Agudas Achim Congregation Adult Education Fund or Cemetery Committee.
